Foam Party Pricing: Public & Corporate Events vs Smaller Private Parties

A few customers have expressed some confusion regarding foam party pricing for public/corporate events vs smaller private parties for 30 guests or less. We recently priced a public event where the customer asked why there was a disparity between the posted pricing for smaller private parties and the quote they received for a larger public party. Once the differences were explained, the customer happily booked their foam party event.
For many public events like festivals and street parties, strong commercial grade plastic barriers are needed to define the foam zone area. The barriers also help to contain the foam and create a safe foam zone area for the foam party. This creates an amazing setup, but it also takes additional time and manpower for setup and takedown.
Larger events may require several foam cannons, and the foam nozzle may need to be swapped out for a turbo nozzle ensuring adequate foam to keep up with the many participants. Larger parties require more foam than smaller parties and foaming dragon only purchases foam solution from Foam Daddy. Along with extra staff, there is also an increased travel and fuel cost associated with getting all that extra equipment /larger sound system/ crowd barriers etc. to larger events. Whereas the equipment needed for a small backyard party can fit in a small SUV.
Here's a quick look at the value proposition between a private party with 25 participants vs a school with 400 participants. Assuming the two examples were local with no extra travel expense, the one-hour party for 25 participants would cost $18 per participant. The school event priced at $2000. would cost $5.00 per participant. That’s amazing value for such a fun, exciting and memorable event!
